LusoCAD for Beginners

An extensive course that covers the functionality of LusoCAD from the most basic features to advanced drawing commands, including fundamental concepts of 2D and 3D CAD modeling, illustrated with simple and easy-to-understand drawings. This course is ideal for those with little experience in CAD who wish to develop their skills in LusoCAD or AutoCAD®.

Course Objectives


This course is designed as an introduction to CAD modeling and a brief overview of advanced techniques, including how LusoCAD works, its drawing commands, modifications, layers and other aspects of the program. 

Through 6 modules, the student will acquire knowledge of 2D drawing, basic forms of 3D drawing, forms of annotation and printing and ways of solving common situations when using CAD software.


Target audience


This course does not require a great deal of prior knowledge of CAD modeling; any student with a basic understanding of geometry and computers can easily follow the steps and exercises in the course.

LusoCAD 2025.

If you have neither LusoCAD nor AutoCAD® installed yet, you can download a full version of LusoCAD at https://www.luso-cad.com/. 
For the first 30 days after installation, there will be no limitations. After that period, you will still be able to use the program, open drawings and do all the exercises in the course, but you will no longer be able to save files.
